Bai Qingqing lay the fur clothes below Parker’s waist, covering his essential part and looked at the large, awful-looking bruise on his abdomen. She didn’t know where to start. With a tentative touch on the skin, she immediately looked up to check Parker’s expression.

Parker’s face tightened a bit, then casually picked up the fur skirt and threw it aside. He then stretched his legs all over.

Bai Qingqing immediately turned her eyes away but continue massaging his stomach gently: “Does it hurt much?”

Parker replied with a smirk, “It won’t hurt if you're the one who massages it.”

Bai Qingqing rolled her eyes and deliberately asked, “So who won between you two?”

Parker was surprised at Bai Qingqing’s sudden interest in the result of their fight. Parker’s heart began to flutter with anxiety. He looked at Bai Qingqing, and said uneasily, “I’ll beat him for sure next time.”

‘So, it’s a defeat.’

“I believe you.” Bai Qingqing hesitated for a moment and spoke to Parker in a severe tone, “But please don’t go looking for trouble again.”

Bai Qingqing is a dog lover. She worked part-time in a dog pet shop last year, so she knows a lot about dogs.

Different dogs have different personalities, but all of them have one thing in common—bullying the weak and fearing the strong. This trait becomes obvious on vicious dogs.

If the newly-arrived dog is fierce and you can’t seem to control it, it will always be aggressive and even bite you. But if you could completely tame it, it will not only be loyal but will also be very affectionate towards you.

Perhaps more precisely, they would hate the weak ones and respect the ones who were stronger than them. Except, of course, dogs to their owners.

Wolf and dog should have similar traits. Shuu’s current behavior towards Curtis is a perfect example of that.

When Bai Qingqing told him this, Parker had no expression on his face. However, his golden eyes became darker, haunted by a strong will to surpass the wolf’s level. He stroked Qingqing’s dainty hand on his stomach, then held it firmly and swore, “I’ll definitely defeat him!”

Qingqing may be in love with him, but he can’t stand being looked down upon by his female.

Bai Qingqing wasn’t pleased by what Parker said, “Didn’t I say not to make trouble?” She didn’t want Parker’s injuries to keep piling up.

“Don’t worry. He knows that I’m your partner. Even if he can defeat me, he wouldn’t dare kill me.” Parker took Bai Qingqing’s hand and sat up. “I’m going to keep building the coop.”

“Wait a minute. I’m still not done yet. Hurry and lie down.”

Bai Qingqing was so aggressive that Parker had to lie down obediently. After a few minutes, Parker quickly escaped before her massage could cause him to lose his control again.

Later that day, the short-winged bird live in the coop outside the cabin.

Curtis slept for two nights before waking up, which seems to be too long.

“Clang! Clang!” There was a regular clamor of hitting rocks in the living room, which wasn’t too loud under the heavy downpour of rain.

“Hiss~~” A red snakehead with black stripes stuck out against its huge snake rings, spitted its fork tongue, and accurately caught the direction of people.

Parker was chiseling huge rocks meanwhile Bai Qingqing was sewing fur clothes.

Bai Qingqing has that kind of inexplicable feeling again. She stopped sewing, and her eyes move from the clothes to her ankle with the spousal mark. The light in the snake’s eyes was bright. Her eyebrows raised before she glanced at the door.

Curtis’s head paused, staring down at the female.

“Oh, you’re awake.” When Bai Qingqing saw Curtis in a long while, her heart burst with joy, and then she remembered that day’s event. She immediately tried to hide the joy on her face.

Curtis swiveled his tail into the main room and settled beside Bai Qingqing.

Bai Qingqing deliberately ignored him and spoke to Parker, “Parker, it’s getting late. Let’s start cooking.”

“Alright.” Parker said before he put down his tools and wiped his sweat. “What would you like to eat?”

“Fish.” Bai Qingqing immediately answered.

Parker quickly understood that Qingqing wanted Curtis to taste the steamed fish she cooked last time. He gave Curtis a second glance before heading for the river reluctantly.
